I have always been intrigued by great photography and great movies. I started getting back into photography after our son was born but didn't really take off until I attended a photography class as one of my degree requirements. I ended up immersing myself into a new world of digital photography when I wasn't happy with the photos of my son that I was taking with a point and shoot. My wife was very supportive during the "investment" phase and she has continually backed me since I found my passion in photography.
After we had our daughter this year, I found myself more and more wanting to photograph families and individuals. I have shot weddings in the past, had a fun time, and learned a lot but I started to realize that working more closely with people is where my heart is. Portraiture offers the clients and I a more relaxed atmosphere which allows people to be who they are which makes for great photography. 2008 is going to be a big year for me as I build my current client list. I do offer lifestyle photography sessions as well as studio style sessions. I want to offer families options when it comes time to photograph them. There are so many beautiful places in or around San Diego that offer year round opportunities for photo sessions. I have also started working on some commercial style photography and hope to start taking this to new levels this year. Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me.
